Join Inspired Expeditions and UC Santa Cruz in exploring the rich and inviting city of London or the vibrant and alluring country of Morocco.
Visit major London sites such as Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. Explore the rich history of Hampton Court Palace and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Enjoy theater performances at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Royal Court Theatre along with a relaxing stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Delight in marvelous shopping and dining at Borough Market, Covent Garden, and Jubilee Market. Close off your journey with a romantic farewell dinner on the River Thames Cruise with the chiming of Big Ben and a live band to accompany your meal.
The Moroccan journey begins exploring Casablanca with its burgeoning arts scene, and Rabat, the country’s capital and diplomatic center. Bask in the imperial city of Meknes and the ancient Roman settlement of Volubilis. Prepare your camera for the picturesque seaside town of Essaouira, and in Marrakesh, an ancient trading center, spend time discovering the city’s proud traditional artisanship. End the program by exploring villages located deep in the High Atlas mountains and learning about the unique ways of life of Morocco’s native peoples, the Berbers.
